I am considerate, intelligent, communicative, placid man.
I have recently retired as a Computer Professional, which entailed developing Computer software, and operating through my own Limited Company.
I have been involved more recently with Share Dealing, and spend time travelling.
Lived and worked over the years in the USA, Ireland, and UK wide including Scotland.
I like travelling, and have in addition to extensive travel in the USA, have travelled to all Western European countries, incl. Scandanavia and some East European Countries.
More recently I spend time, in a cottage in the Scottish Borders, where I can escape the "Rat-Race", this is near Jedburgh.
I enjoy internet research , some television including current affairs, news, documentaries, wildlife and some movies.
Generally interested in Antiques, Photography, conversation and current affairs.
It would be nice to meet someone who would ideally be by best friend, soul mate and potentially my partner.
I must say I am somewhat jaded in the romance department these days, but who knows some rejuvenation could be just around the corner.
I like to laugh and make people laugh, perhaps a little difficult in these difficult economic times.
There is a serious side to me, but also a caring one. I would like to find a mutual happiness and respect situation
Historically, I used to like petite and slightly built women - this would be a real bonus, but these days the company of the right person would be the greater priority.
